Shipping Policy

Because your home deserves clean-burning desert warmth, delivered with care.


1. Processing Time

Every Modern Sonoran candle is hand-poured, cured, and carefully packed by our family in Chandler, Arizona. Orders placed Monday–Friday are typically fulfilled within 1–2 business days. During sales or holidays, processing may take an extra day—we’ll keep you posted if that happens.


2. Shipping Rates & Delivery

We offer flat-rate shipping of $8.99 anywhere in the continental U.S.

  • Carrier: USPS or UPS, depending on size and destination

  • Delivery Time: 3–7 business days (after fulfillment)

  • Tracking: You’ll receive a tracking link via email as soon as your order ships

We occasionally offer free shipping over a certain threshold during special promotions—be sure to subscribe to our emails or follow us on Instagram so you don’t miss out.


3. Delivery Expectations

We wish we could personally deliver each candle ourselves, but once a package leaves our hands, it’s in the care of USPS or UPS. Most customers receive their orders within a week, but please understand we can’t control delays once your package is in transit.

You can track your order using the link emailed to you—carriers typically update within 24 hours.


4. Warm Weather Shipping (Important!)

Our clean-burning hemp + coconut wax has a lower melting point than traditional waxes. In warmer months (May–September), we will NOT be shipping on Fridays - we choose delay shipments over weekends to avoid heat exposure. 

If your area regularly experiences temps over 90°F, consider shipping to a business address or selecting expedited delivery to protect your candles.


5. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages

We want you to love every part of your order. If something goes wrong, here’s how we can help:

  • Damaged in transit? Email us at help@modernsonoran.com within 7 days with photos of the product, inner packaging, and box. We'll make it right.

  • No tracking updates for 7+ days? Reach out so we can file a carrier inquiry.

  • Marked “delivered” but missing? First, check with neighbors or your local post office/UPS hub. If still missing after 48 hours, contact us and we’ll work with you.


6. Shipping Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. If an item is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we’ll be happy to reship it—but a new shipping fee will apply.


7. International Orders

Currently, we only ship within the United States & Canada. If you're outside the North America and hoping to get our candles, email us—we’re exploring options and would love to notify you when that changes.
