I sent this Monsoon candle as a gift , so I can't speak directly, but my daughter was thrilled! One of her favorite aspects of the desert is that unique scent of creosote after the Monsoon rain, and according to her, this captured it!
We received two candles before Christmas and decided to keep Tamale Season for ourselves. Because I had surgery before the holidays I couldn’t make tamales this year and due to bad weather we lost power on Christmas Eve day which added insult to injury! We immediately lit the tamale candle in the kitchen and it gave us such a welcoming scent and provided true comfort! Our family members loved it and immediately asked where we got it.
