We received the candle very quickly. Our neighbor makes his own candles and he recommended we light it and let it burn for about two hours to create a dish in the wax.
The smell was perfect! Whenever I returned to our townhouse in Chandler from working in coastal California, a rainstorm had usually occurred and I would open the fresh air vent and roll the windows down to smell the wet creosote bushes. I would inhale deeply.
After the candle burned for a little while, I would come in the house from outside and inhale deeply. Same smell, same feelings.

Shopping was quick and easy online. They sent a same smell of another scent (Arizona Orange Blossoms) which I also loved so I bought that one as well!
My only complaint is that this candle is too small! I was born and raised in AZ and moved away a few years ago. My favorite scent in the whole world is the desert after the rain and this candle brings that special piece of home to me on the East coast. I love it so much- I will be a forever customer.
I bought the Arizona Monsoon candle as a Christmas gift. So it's not for me, but I smelled it as soon as it came in. And yes it has all the smells of a desert monsoon. I know the person that is getting it will love it! And I am putting one for me on my Christmas list!!!
Loved it wish it was a little bit bigger
My husband grew up in Mesa at a time when sheep was actually brought down from the tribes each year. He was one of the last people to actually mine with the old timers in the Superstitions as a youth. He no longer lives in Arizona and he always talks about missing the fragrance of the creosole after a monsoon rain. I hope this gift renews those moments.
I bought this for my daughter who moved from AZ to MO. She told me she really missed the smell of the rain in Az so when I saw it, I had to get it for her. She loved it! I may have to order her more! Thank you for letting me get her a little piece of home.

Purchasing these candles, although I wasn’t sure what they would smell like, but after reading the reviews decided to go all in, best decision I made. Great candles. They smell awesome remind me of home. The lid closure with the burnt cactus on it is awesome. Just makes me feel like I’m in Arizona back in the day before the EXTREME growth and when orange groves existed before making way to development. Even though I don’t live there anymore, these remind me of a simpler time growing up in Az.
